ALUMNI FAMILY MEET 2005
A
Global Alumni Get Together was organised by TAGA on 6th
August 2005 at JALADARSINI
LAKE RESORT, Kollam.
It
was a grand success with the presence of 50 Alumni Members
and their families. Mr.Shibu Baby John, MLA (85 Mech.)

COUNSELING FOR ENGINEERING COURSES
-
GATEWAY-2005
The TVPM
Chapter of TKMCE Alumni Association in association with
Kerala Kaumudi organized a counseling for students who
intend to go for engineering courses. The counseling was
held at SNDP Hall, Pettah on 12th June 2005. About 350
students and their parents attended the counseling.
Reputed academicians and experts cleared the doubts of
students and their parents. |

TKMCE
Alumnus Thomas.P.Oommen (Paul) bagged award with a US
patent
for his invention in mobile station management
over the air. It has tremendous uses
for wireless telephone application or cellular communication
system. He did his B.Tech degree in Electronics
& Communication Engg from TKMCE and M.Tech in
EE (Communication Systems) from IIT, Kanpur.
Currently he works as research engineer with
a telecommunications company. He has authored
and presented numerous
papers/tutorials in IEEE conferences. He is the
current editor of a specification in 3GPP2 (Third
Generation Partnership Project) and the
vice-chairman of the working group in CDG (CDMA
Development Group). He is married, and have
a four year old daughter. He now lives in
Dallas, Texas.

this commendable achievement. |
